Stendhal Festival of Music and Arts, Limavady
Installed my own newspaper dreamcatcher sculptural intallation and ran a dreamcatcher workshop in Annan's Arch 2019.
We used the natural willow which grows in the area and eco-friendly, natural jute twine to create the dreamcatchers, I delivered info on the history and folklore of dreamcatchers and positive impacts of eco-friendly crafts.

Testimonials - “I have worked with Aimee Magee for the past year through Tumble Circus since I started as the company Project Manager & Producer.
I am impressed by Aimee’s commitment to the arts, and her knowledge of the wider arts community in Northern Ireland.
In December 2019 we have had a run of Winter Circus in a Big Top in Writers Square, Blefast with our Winter Circus, with shows happening on a daily basis.
Aimee has been a committed team member, and has really excelled herself in this role providing vital event support to the team, and also to our audience during the shows.
Aimee is incredibly personable, and has a warm and genuine manner, and has been an excellent Welcome to the event here. She is knowledgeable, informative and approachable, and has maintained this in difficult conditions such as with extreme weather, with stressed audience and late arrivals to the show.
She has also been a vital link between the venue manager and box office, indentifying vulnerable audience members, and actioning support where possible to make their visit to the Big Top as comfortable as possible.
We highly value audience feedback, and Aimee has been highly motivated in approaching audience after the performance to capture vital information in our monitoring and evaluation forms.
We wish Aimee every success in her career and will be delighted to engage her in future projects if she has availability.
Please do contact me directly should you wish to discuss this any further,
Many Thanks,
Wendy Blemings”

Shadow creative workshop with local St. Mary's Primary School pupils 2019. I engaged the children in group participation activities, drawing each others shadows and drawing in response to a sound and sculpture exhibition being held in the gallery at the time. This work went into their sketchbook and portfolio as part of an educational programme in Catalyst Arts.

Beat Carnival
St. Patrick's Day Parade
Running a drumming workshop in preparation for parade
Creating the Carnival Arts Scool Banner for St. Patrick's Day Parade. This banner was created through collaborative, creative workshops at our 3 day residency in Newcastle as part of our St. Patrick's Day project. We designed and created the banner from scratch and also designed the costumes in the picture of different shades blue hoodies and t-shirts, sporting the logo we also designed together.
Dancing and performing in St. Patrick's Day Parade with the community group consisting of children from local Belfast primary and high schools and other groups, participants ages ranged from 6 – 65 years old. We created the dance routine ourselves and performed in the costumes we designed, followed by the drummers drumming the beats we created.
Light Up the Road Parade
Leading the Beat Carnival in the Light Up the Road Parade on the Shankill. We designed and created our group logo and the tissue paper mache and willow lanterns and banner we carried. This was a cross community project with local primary schools in the area. We paraded together on the night and gained positive feedback in evaluation reports, which resulted in funding to continue the project.
